Fixed term life insurance from Direct Line will help you provide for your loved ones if you die. A fixed amount will be paid out if you die within the term of the policy. Mortgage life cover is slightly different in that the amount of money paid on death reduces over the period of the policy as it is designed to pay off an outstanding mortgage.

Direct Line life insurance could cost from just 20p per day and anyone between 18 and 65 can apply.

Direct Line critical illness cover

Most life insurance policies will not pay out on diagnosis of a critical illness.

Critical illness cover from Direct Line could provide financial protection in the event of diagnosis of one of 28 specified critical illnesses during the term of the policy.

Direct Line offer two types of this cover:

Fixed Term Life Cover with Critical Illness - pays out a fixed sum.
Mortgage Life Cover with Critical Illness - pays a sum that decreases over the term of the policy.
